There's Quite a Panic at the Disco
Panic at the Disco is quite a popular band, mainly amongst young teenagers but a hugely successful band nonetheless. You may know them as a Fall Out Boy copycat artist, or you might even be a huge fan; regardless of your viewpoint, here is my view of Panic at the Disco.
Having been a huge fan of the Panic at the Disco debut album 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' I had been greatly looking forward to the bands sophomore effort; I was to be greatly disappointed when I listed to ‘Pretty Odd’ however as I really do not think that is it a strong second album, it is in fact pretty rubbish.
Perhaps the bands third album will be excellent if one ever emerges, then again maybe not and 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' could remain to be the only decent Panic at the Disco album ever released.

LA’s raucous rockers The Outline shall be touring the UK in June. They’ll be heading over here in support of Say Anything, it should be an excellent tour and explosions are sure to be caused at every date played across the country. The Outline’s debut album ‘You Smash It, We'll Build Around It' will be released in June also so this will be a great opportunity for the band to show UK audiences exactly what they’ve got and ultimately shift a few more copies of the record.
For those interested in seeing the band then the following dates will be played:
4 Jun Newcastle, Carling Academy 2
5 Jun Glasgow, ABC2
7 Jun Manchester, University
8 Jun Liverpool, Carling Academy
9 Jun Birmingham, Barfly
10 Jun London, KCLSU
The Outline album has been produced by Chris Fudurich (Finch, Nada Surf), something that has secured the band a slot on the supreme record label Fearless Records. Expect to see a lot more from The Outline in the future, in the mean time feel free to give the video for the bands single 'Death To Our Enemies' a viewing on youtube.

Blogging All Over The World
Having always had an interest in blogging I’ve now set up an account at Blogger. It’s not exactly the most exciting blog in the world, so far however I have given my views on MySpace Music, talked about my websites, and just generally waffled away to my heart’s content. I’m quite pleased with my beautifully black page; it’s aesthetically pleasing and the website itself I can see becoming highly addictive. It's incredibly easy to set up an account yourself should you so wish and quite honestly I'd certainly recommend doing so.
If you’re interested then check me out at richleigh.blogspot.com, I’m sure I’ll be posting plenty more in the not too distant future. Who knows; one day I might even write something there of remote interest.

Seething its Way to UK Shores
On June 9th Seether will release the album 'Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces' in the UK. The following Monday the single ‘Rise Above This’ will be let loose and no doubt will enter the Official UK Charts at some position or another. It's an exciting date in the calendar, an eagerly anticipated album from such a strong artist and I'm sure that there will be plenty out there thoroughly looking forward to listening.
400 000 copies of the album have already been shifted in the United States, things are looking good for Seether and success should no doubt come for the band in the UK soon. Expect to see a review of the album on Alt-UK soon; it should be a sensational album of music and I for one can’t wait to hear what the band has to offer with major studio album number three.

Cry Me A River...
Brighton based band The Rivers has a new single out in the form of She Gives It Around. The band is absolutely excellent and you can find my review of the single HERE.
If what I say about the single tickles your fancy then you'll also find a myspace music link which you can use to get to the bands page and listen to the music yourself.
I thoroughly suggest giving the band a listen, you'll surely not be disappointed.
