Completely Free Coldplay Album Streaming

The new Coldplay album ‘Viva La Vida or Death
And All His Friends’ is now ready to be listened to by all the world. The album
is available to listen to completely for free over at a special Coldplay
Myspace page so for all those interested in the music of Coldplay then I highly
recommend listening to it. Even if you don’t particularly like Coldplay you
might as well take advantage of the fact that its free, right?

To listen to the album you must be a
member of Myspace.com, so if you’re not already then get signing up and then
you shall have full access to the fine new Coldplay album that is ‘Viva La Vida
or Death And All His’. So it’s not quite a free Coldplay album download but it’s
certainly close, expect to see an Alt-UK review of the album appearing very
soon.

course be seen on youtube.

If listening to The Levellers completely

New Found Glory Tour Update

In addition to the dates that I previously
announced on the website; New Found Glory will also now be playing a gig at
Liverpool. The Liverpool show will be on November 19th 2008 and will
take place at the Carling Academy. It will of course be a headline date and
tickets will be going on sale from June 6th.

If you’re a big New Found Glory fan then I
thoroughly suggest acquiring a ticket sooner rather than later; it’s a great
opportunity for those in the Liverpool area to catch the band and certainly isn’t
a tour date to be missed. Tickets will no doubt well out quickly and further
details of how/where to pick up tickets can here be found.

What’s the Story, New Found Glory?

A few weeks back I reviewed the New Found
Glory/ISHC split EP that was released through Bridge Nine Records, the release
has had some excellent press on the whole and it must be said that this is for
good reason. In support of this EP the band will be heading over to the UK in
order to play a number of dates across the country.

From experiencing the band live a couple of
years back I must say that this tour is bound to be an excellent one, the band
is sure to put on an excellent show and I do not doubt that everyone that
attends will leave the shows more than satisfied. New Found Glory will be supported
by Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong; be sure to catch them at one of the
following dates:

11/20/2008 Norwich , United Kingdom @ UEA (w/ Set Your Goals & Four Year Strong)

11/21/2008 Manchester, United Kingdom @ Manchester Academy (w/ SetYour Goals & Four Year Strong)

Pendulum Slamming Their Way into UK Venues

It’s been an excellent year for Pendulum, they
rocked out the One Big Weekend in Maidstone the other month and later
this summer they shall be strutting their stuff at major music
festivals across the country also. The bands ‘In Silico’ album is now
out and Pendulum is now an artist taking the rock world by storm.

With
first album ‘Hold Your Colour’ Pendulum greatly impressed the Drum and
Bass scene in 2005, more and more Drum and Bass heads are now turning
their back on the band however as they take on a more hard rocking
edge. There are elements of Drum and Bass, and factors of rock also
that make up the bands sound; they want to appeal to both sets of fans
but at current that just doesn’t seem to be working out for Pendulum.
Rock fans are always suspicious of new faces on the scene, particularly
when they seemingly appear from nowhere and ‘instantly’ gain a great
deal of success. ‘Hold Your Colour’ was a big Drum and Bass hit a few
years back, Pendulum may be newcomers to the world of rock but they’re
certainly no strangers to the music scene.

Pendulum first formed
back in 2002 in Australia, they came from a rock/metal background and
it’s only right that they’ve found their way back to this scene with
‘In Silico’. It may seem like an eternity away at current but Pendulum
shall be playing the following dates throughout Winter 2008:

November 2008

27th – Newport, Centre 01633 656757
28th – Portsmouth, Guildhall 02392 824355
29th – Swindon, Oasis 01793 445401
30th – Plymouth, Pavilions 0845 146 1460

MC Lars Is More Punk Rock Than You!

It’s true, one thing to remember though people;
Hot Topic is NOT Punk Rock. Having finished work on my latest double
effort of music related Squidoo lenses I thought it was only right to
share them here. The articles I’m speaking of here are about MC Lars and Hearts That Hate respectively.

Personally
I’m pleased with the outcome of these two, all thoughts greatly
appreciated and any feedback you may possibly have for me would be
absolutely brilliant to hear.
